We are excited to share the latest news about the $OCC token, namely that it will now be available to buy and trade on the BSC network!
We are aware of the ongoing concern in our community regarding high ETH gas fees and subsequently their unfavourable effect on trading and IDO participation. Taking this community feedback into account, one of the first steps we took towards lowering fees was changing OccamRazer IDO contributions from ETH to BNB in Q4 of 2021.
As a second step towards achieving lower fees for the Occam community and welcoming new members, the OCC-BNB pair is now available on PancakeSwap!
Cardano remains an important element in our roadmap as we look forward to the chain overcoming its congestion issues and scaling further. We are committed to offering a viable solution on Cardano, as long as the chain is able to support effective transaction processes and more.
So, what’s next?
Buying OCC on BSC
Firstly, you will need to add the BSC network to your MetaMask. Many of the Occam community members who have participated in previous IDOs on OccamRazer would already have this done. You can follow this tutorial to learn how to add BSC to MetaMask.

Note: On the PancakeSwap interface, there is no certain link to swap A <=> B, so users will have to choose the tokens on the interface. See the screenshots below for guidance, marked in red.

4. Double check the details, tickmark that you understand and click import.

Staking OCC
For the time being, staking is only available on Ethereum. We are working on a staking solution on BSC and will provide the community with an update once it is available. Having liquidity is the first step we need to take in the direction of providing staking on BSC.
In order to stake, after purchasing your OCC on BSC, the next step is to bridge your tokens from BSC to ETH.
In order to bridge your OCC to ETH and vice versa, we recommend that you use https://www.chainport.io/.
There are currently no extra fees associated with using ChainPort besides normal TX fees associated with the relevant blockchains.
Please note: You will need to have BNB in your balance in order to port your tokens between the two blockchains.

How to port OCC to ETH using ChainPort:
- Connect your MetaMask wallet directly on https://app.chainport.io/.
- Select the blockchain that you would like to port from (BSC) and the blockchain you would like to port to (Ethereum).
- Select the $OCC token from the verified list of tokens on ChainPort. The OCC contract address is 0x2f109021afe75b949429fe30523ee7c0d5b27207.
- Input the amount of OCC that you would like to port to Ethereum.
- Approve the transaction.
